With torrential rains hitting the Route 66 riders between Albuquerque and Flagstaff, the Generation Jones show with "Smoke" (Jess, Carla & Michael) was officially rained out. Since the band did set the show up and was ready to play, approximately 20 people, including the bar crew and sound engineers, got a rock 'n roll show in a great venue (Orpheum Theater in Flagstaff) like it was their own private party.

Performing as Smoke
"Generation Jones" is Jess, Mike Anthony Jones, Michael, Carla, and Mike Kravitz on drums.

The band plays Motorcycle-Themed music like Bryan Adams meets Allman Brothers with a little Stray Cats. All motorcycle riders would walk away with a smile after this show. For samples of motorcycle music from Mike Anthony Jones, be sure to visit www.MotorcycleMusic.US.

Smoke (the trio)Element 115 (without AL) will be performing as "Smoke," the core unit of Generation Jones, the band which backs up Mike Anthony Jones, THE motorcycle music guy.

If you've ever ridden out on the open road, you'll relate to the songs being performed at the Orpheum in Flagstaff tomorrow, Sept. 22nd. For more info on Mike Anthony Jones, be sure to visit the Motorcycle Music web site.

They'll be playing songs from the "Motoring the Mother Road" album, and the "Ride To Live, Live To Ride" album, which is also the sound track to Mr.Jones' upcoming movie, "Live To Ride."

Isn't it about time the motorcyclist was portrayed as the good guy? This movie will make you smile, give you a thrill or two, and give you a chance to see SMOKE and other musicians on the big screen (in select locations) and on your flat screen!

In addition to the Mike Anthony Jones music, the band is likely to play some great classic rock from the '70s and '80s.

On June 20th, 2010, Michael received the Technology Award in Music and was inducted into the Arizona Nightclub Performer's Hall of Fame.

Element 115 performed, and the band's technology was on display and used by all of the performers that night.

In addition to performing, and setting up all of the sound and lighting equipment for the event, Michael ran sound and lights for each of the performers who took the stage that night. The first performer needed some back-up vocals to help him relax, so Michael jumped right in and sang. After that, Alice Tatum was up for her induction, and to perform. As Michael helped her up to the stage, she said, "You're singing with me, too!"

Then, Tommy Holloway, George Hamilton, and Jodi Light also had Michael singing backup before the night was over.

Terry & Ann Davies needed no help whatsoever, as they had a heck of a rockin' set of Elton John and Billy Joel songs where everyone in their band sang.
